SPACE 242, Boston's Low Brow Destination proudly presents a special December exhibition: POST THIS! Over 100 Rock Posters of the 90s to Present, December 4, 2009 through January 8, 2010. EXTENDED THROUGH JANUARY 22! Gallery hours Fridays January 15 & 22 6:30-8pm.

POST THIS! is extended, by popular demand, and will be on view thorugh January 22, 2010. There will be gallery hours Fridays January 8, 15, and 22, 6:30-8pm. SPACE 242 will be closed December 25 and January 1 for Christmas and New Year's Day.

Most limited edition posters are $50 and may be taken with you right then.

ABOUT SPACE 242
SPACE 242 opened in January 2008 and presents pop surrealist and "low brow" artists in its spacious loft gallery in Boston's South End. SPACE 242 is an “alternative” to fine art galleries and is located in the
SOWA (South of Washington) arts district. Geared to connecting emerging artists with new collectors at reasonable prices, SPACE 242 hosts monthly opening receptions, on the final Fridays, from 6-8pm, as well as artist talks, and other events.

SPACE 242 presents an exhibition schedule including regional and national artist who work in many mediums and genres, including photography, illustration, painting, mixed media, sculpture, video art, and
more. Stay tuned for the 2010 program coming soon.

SPACE 242 is located at 242 E. Berkeley Street, 2nd floor, between Albany Street and Harrison Avenue in Boston’s South End (The Medieval Manor Building). It is accessible via the MBTA’s Silver Line: E. Berkeley
Street, Red Line: Broadway Station, Orange Line: Back Bay Station, and Green Line: Arlington Street Station. Street parking is available on E. Berkeley Street and Harrison Avenue after 6pm. There is metered
parking on Washington Street and paid lots on Shawmut and Tremont Street. Artwork exhibited is available for purchase unless otherwise noted.
